This is an online course taught via Zoom

What will I be learning?

Microsoft Excel – Explore some basic spreadsheet features to create and edit professional documents including:

• Familiarisation with screen and terminology
• Entering data into a spreadsheet
• Saving and retrieving files
• Simple Formulae – Autosum, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, AutoFill
• Inserting/Deleting Rows and Columns
• Formatting features – currency, wrap text, bold, merging cells, borders
• Freeze panes, zoom and changing the print size to fit on a page.

This online module will consist of a live, tutor-led Zoom session lasting 1.5 hours with approximately 2 hours of self-study provided to consolidate skills.

To connect to your online course via Zoom, you will need: 

• An electronic device of your choice connected to the Internet 
• An email address  
• Headphones or speakers and microphone (these can be built into your device)
