Course Information

What will I be learning?

You may be thinking of returning to work or looking for a better job or are considering a change in career direction.  With that in mind, getting an insight to the creative sector may be a good starting place.  The sector is very dynamic and due to the recent situation has had to face many challenges, however there is growth in some areas within and with new ways of working the sector still remains a good career choice for some people.

None of us know yet, how the workplace may change in the future or what the new 'normal' may look like, but now is a good time to start assessing your current skills and qualities and the type of role and work environment you would enjoy in the future. This may be working in the sector or starting your own business within the sector. Getting an insight into the vibrancy of the sector, will help you shape your decision.

Whatever your background or previous employment history our friendly Careers Team can offer you free advice and guidance to help you on your way.

This will be an initial interactive session using Zoom video conferencing.  Don't worry if you're not sure about using new technology, when you enrol on the course, we will contact you and help you set up the links and send you some pre-course information to help you prepare.

The course will support you with:

  • Giving you an insight into the creative sector
