Better Together Café
The Better Together Café is a social enterprise run by our learners as part of their learning programmes. The café is located on the ground floor in Derby City Council's Council House, in the city centre. We also run a Community Café at St Philip Church in Chaddesden.
In both cafes, our learners prepare, make and serve a range of food and drinks as part of their course.
For learning
We offer both non accredited introductory courses and City and Guilds accredited programmes for adults, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities and those whose first language isn’t English.
If you are interested in working in hospitality or catering or want to get practical training and support or improve your English, customer service skills and personal development whilst working in a cafe open to the public, please contact us.
Come and have a drink, snack or reasonably priced lunch with us!
