Who is this course for

For everyone who have little or no previous experience in languages.

Please note some learners in the beginners group may have attended previous terms and so some class members may be at slightly different points in their beginners journey.

What are the entry requirements

You should be able to speak and write in English.

What will I be learning

During this course, we will cover a range of basic topics, such as: Talking about self, asking basic questions, booking a room in a hotel, express likes and dislikes, to name a few. In doing so, you will gain basic skills which will help you communicate and interact, express your needs and feel comfortable when travelling in Italy.
At the same time, you will learn about the Italian culture.

How will I be assessed and supported

You will have an Individual Learning Plan  where we will support you to set your own learning goals at the start of your course.  You will be regularly assessed and reviewed along your learning journey by your tutor, along with self assessment, to help you achieve these goals.

What do I need to bring?

Pen and paper to take notes. Your tutor will provide you with lesson notes and relevant resources. Most importantly, come with an open mind and willingness to participate.

Once you will have completed your Beginners course, you will be able to enrol in an Italian for Progressors class.
