Who is this course for

The course is perfect for beginners or those already working in the care/education or service sector.  
It is a flexible course, where you can study anywhere, anytime.

As this is course leads to a level 2 qualification, it requires your commitment of a few hours per week learning and completing the assessment questions.  Depending on the amount of units/assessment questions, it should take on average 3 to 4 months to complete.  However, it may take less time, depending on how quickly you complete the assessments.

What are the entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however you should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

What will I be learning

This qualification will give you the knowledge and understanding of allergies, the causes and how to deal with reactions.
You must complete the 2 mandatory units and 1 optional unit, which you can choose depending on your requirements.

How will I be assessed and supported

During the course you will access online materials to support your learning and will work through online assessments as you progress.  You will be supported by your tutor.

What do I need to bring?

This is an online course you will need access to a computer, laptop and the internet to be able to complete the course.

This qualification is run on a platform via the internet using the online EQUAL learning platform.
