This course is designed to help you build fundamental digital skills for everyday life and work. Through hands-on activities and guided practice, you will gain confidence in using digital devices, navigating online environments, and managing digital information safely and responsibly.

What are the entry requirements

This course is not suitable for complete beginners to computers.
You should already be able to use a keyboard and mouse and access the Internet to search for basic information.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but an initial assessment will be completed prior to enrolling onto this course to check prior knowledge and ensure you join the correct level course for you.

Creating and Editing Digital Content
Communicating Online
Transacting Online
Being Safe and Responsible Online

How will I be assessed and supported

You will be assessed through a practical, task-based exam at the end of the course. You will demonstrate your ability to apply digital skills in real-life scenarios.
You will receive support from your tutor throughout the course.
You will also complete an Individual Learning Plan to support your progress.
