Who is this course for

The course is aimed at those who would like to be able to fingerspell.

What are the entry requirements

There are no entry requirements.

What will I be learning

You will learn how to use the British two-handed fingerspelling system.
You will learn tips on how to make productive and receptive skills more effective such as using word searches to practise your receptive skills and how to fingerspell own names and short three letter words to practise your productive skills.
You will also find out how to access online resources, to keep your fingerspelling skills up to standard.

How will I be assessed and supported

This does not lead to a qualification, but those who complete the course will be given a certificate of attendance.
There will be an English BSL interpreter as it will be delivered by a Deaf tutor.

What do I need to bring?

You may want pen and paper if you want to take any notes.
