Who is this course for

If you have a passion for languages and the culture of the country where that language is spoken, this course is for you! It also aims at meeting the needs of those who have had experience with the language or for those who have completed an Intermediate course.

What are the entry requirements

If you've not learnt a language with us before, one of our tutors will need to assess your existing language levels to see if this is the right level of class for you. Advanced classes are for learners who already have confidence with the language.

What will I be learning

You will explore a range of topics in this advanced language class, some examples are below
Cultural celebrations and events.
Exploring local customs and traditions.
Discuss wellness strategies and techniques
Develop employability skills
Talk about job opportunities
Train your memory and support your
cognitive health through conversations.

How will I be assessed and supported

There is no formal assessment in this course. You will be given timely feedback from your tutor who will be guiding you through your learning journey.

What do I need to bring?

Pen and paper to take notes. Your tutor will provide you with lesson notes and relevant resources.
Most importantly, come with an open mind and willingness to participate.

What can this course lead to

Once you have completed two years in the Advanced class, you will be able to progress into a DALS Language for work qualification.
