Who is this course for

This course is for anyone who enjoys learning the Spanish language and the culture of Spanish speaking countries, for work or pleasure.

What are the entry requirements

If you have not learnt with us before, the Spanish tutor will need to assess your existing language level to see if this is the right level of class for you.
If you have completed a beginner course with us, this is the right course for you.
You should also be able to speak and write in English

What will I be learning

Below are some of the topics you will be learning in this course:
Review and Introduction
You will review topics studied at the beginner level: basic grammar, present tense verbs, basic nouns and adjectives
Expanding Vocabulary and Phrases
Daily activity vocabulary discussing daily routines
Practising/learning and using Reflexive verbs
Describing People and Places
Adjectives for Physical and Personality Traits
Descriptive writing: writing short paragraphs about people and places
Talking about famous people, nationality, marital status, age, jobs, etc
Hobbies and Interests
Learn about sports, art and leisure activities
Using verb Gustar and similar verbs
expressing likes and dislikes
Present Continuous tense... plus much more.

Lessons include icebreakers, games quizzes, crosswords to help you review topics and vocabulary in a fun way.

How will I be assessed and supported

You will have an Individual Learning Plan where we will support you to set your own learning goals at the start of your course.  You will be regularly assessed and reviewed along your learning journey by your tutor, along with self assessment, to help you achieve these goals.

What do I need to bring?

The lessons are online. You need to have a pen and paper to take notes.
You will also need to bring an open mind and be ready to enjoy learning the Spanish language.
