This qualification is an introduction to volunteering in any sector. It is also suitable for anyone who is already working as a volunteer who wishes to formalise and further develop their existing experience and skills.What are the entry requirements

What will I be learning
At the end of this qualification, you will
Understand the role of a volunteer within a voluntary
organisation.
Understand the activities of a voluntary
organisation.
Identify the skills required to be a successful
volunteer.
Understand the regulatory framework that may apply to being a
volunteer.
How will I be assessed and supported
You will complete a workbook and portfolio with the tasks
and assessments with the required criteria to successfully achieve this
qualification at your own pace but within the set 12 week programme.
Your
tutor will be available to support you digitally throughout the length of your
course. The tutor will provide you with feedback and support with any query
or issue you may have. The tutor will be available online once a week on a
scheduled basis.
Note the workbook with the assessment tasks will be
available for you to access on the Derby Adult Learning platform Derby
Learn DL, after you attend an Induction with the tutor.
On
completion of this NCFE L2 Award in Volunteering you will have the opportunity
of a one to one meeting with our careers advisor for individual information,
support and guidance.
What do I need to bring?
This course is online. When you meet the tutor, please have a pen and paper at hand to take notes.
